It was just that kind of night for Nixa in a 47-14 loss to Carl Junction.

"When it's not going right, it's not going right," Nixa coach Rich Rehagen said with a shrug.

It didn't go right from the beginning for Nixa. The very first play from scrimmage was a turnover, as CJ's Michael Elbert picked off Andrew Rivera and returned the ball to the Nixa 11. Rayquion Weston powered in from one yard out three plays later for a 7-0 Bulldog lead.
