Nixa football hosted Ozark on Friday, Oct. 21 for the regular-season finale at Eagle Stadium for its annual Backyard Brawl game.

The Eagles, who won the conference title a week prior, dominated the game from start to finish, coasting by the Tigers 51-7 and kept the Backyard Brawl trophy residing in Nixa for the sixth consecutive year.

The victory completed Nixa's undefeated regular-season (9-0).

Nixa earned the No. 1 seed in the Class 6 District 5 tournament with Ozark, Waynesville, Joplin, and Kickapoo, and awaits the winner of No. 4 Waynesville and No. 5 Ozark in the quarterfinal round on Nov. 3.
