After a well-deserved bye week, top-seeded Nixa hosted cross-town rival and No. 5-seeded Ozark on Nov. 3 in the district semifinals.
The Eagles coasted by the visitors, shutting out the Tigers 50-0.
Game Scoring Plays:
On the game's opening drive, a 29-yard pass from QB Nate Uber to TE Clayton Pruitt scored the first touchdown with 10:10 left in the first quarter. The Eagles attempted the 2-point conversion, and WR Rylan Michel hauled in the pass from Uber, making it an 8-0 early lead for the Eagles. Click here to view the TD.

As the clock was expiring in the opening quarter, Uber threw his second TD of the game. Uber found Michel streaking downfield, and Michel jumped over the Ozark safety and grabbed the pass over the defender's head for the six points. On Ozark's ensuing drive, the Nixa defense forced a turnover and converted it into points. DE Jayden Antonelli powered through the Tiger's o-line and strip-sacked the Ozark QB, and the Eagles recovered the ball around midfield. Nixa used a few run plays to march downfield, melt the clock, and set up an easy 2-yard TD run by Dylan Rebura with 15 seconds remaining in the half. Click here to view the TD.

Rider scored his second TD of the game on a 17-yard run out of the pistol formation, as he zig-zagged his way through the gaps by his o-line and went untouched into the endzone. Nixa led 36-0 with 8:54 left in the third. Click here to view the TD.
With the Eagles in Ozark territory around the 40-yard line, QB Drew Blevins and Michel set up the Nixa's next score. Michel caught the screen pass from Blevins, made an Ozark defender miss, and carried the ball 16 yards downfield, eventually setting up a 6-yard TD run from Rebura. The game's final score came with 10:27 left. Blevins connected with WR Baran Johnson from deep, as Johnson blew by the Ozark defense, was left wide open, and hauled in the 48-yard catch and run TD. Click here to view the TD.

Nixa totaled 395 yards of offense to Ozark's 95 and converted three-of-five third down attempts to Ozark's one of 11.Â
The Eagles (10-0) advance to the Class 6 District 5 championship, where they will host No. 3-seeded Joplin (7-3) on Nov. 10, who defeated Kickapoo 45-29 in its semifinal matchup. In the regular-season matchup at Joplin, Nixa defeated the host 35-27. Nixa has won the last two encounters vs. Joplin, but the is 3-4 all-time against its foe Eagles.

Dylan Rebura carried the ball 16 times for 92 yards and a pair of TDs.
Malachi Rider had eight rushes for 75 yards and two TDs.
Nate Uber completed nine of 10 passes for 123 yards and two TDs. Uber also rushed three times for 20 yards.
Drew Blevins completed both of his passes for 48 yards and a TD. Blevins also scrambled twice for 13 yards.
Rylan Michel caught seven passes for 105 yards and a TD.
Clayton Pruitt and Baran Johnson caught both of their lone targets for over 25 yards and a TD.
Jackson Cantwell had 10 pancake blocks.
Eli Frazier (16) and Spencer Ward (11) tallied double-digit tackles.
Jayden Antonelli had two sacks and a forced fumble.
