The Missouri High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (MHSFCA) has selected and announced its 2023 Academic All-State honorees.

Team Criteria:

• A team will be awarded the distinction of an Academic All-State Team if the entire varsity team has a cumulative Unweighted grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 or better on a 4.0 scale.
• The GPA should be figured by the high school counselor after the Fall 2023 semester is completed and then submitted to the MHSFCA via the submission form, verifying the cumulative GPA for the entire varsity team. 
• All GPAs must be converted to a 4.0 scale.

Individual Criteria:

• All varsity student-athletes are eligible.
• Cumulative Unweighted GPA after the Fall 2023 semester of 3.70-4.0.
• Nominations must also meet the team criteria listed above.
• The GPA should be figured by the high school counselor after the Fall 2023 semester is completed and then submitted to the MHSFCA via the submission form, verifying the GPAs of eligible varsity student-athletes.

Nixa earned the Academic All-State Team distinction award with an overall GPA of 3.79. Eight Nixa players were recipients individually.
