The Nixa football schedule has been unveiled for the 2024 season, and it welcomes the inaugural year of the newly formed Central Ozark Conference.

The Eagles are coming off an undefeated regular season, where they finished as conference and district champions, posting a record of 11-1.

Varsity key dates and schedule links for each level are below.

Nixa will play a nine-game regular-season conference slate with four new opponents on the schedule, and postseason play will follow in the late fall. Matchups against Lebanon, Kickapoo, Waynesville, and Glendale await the Eagles as the four schools join the COC in their first season.

A preseason jamboree is set for August 23. Then, Nixa debuts the season with a home opener against the Class 5 state runners-up Republic Tigers on August 30.

On the road, the Eagles will face Webb City (Sept. 6), Carthage (Sept. 20), Lebanon (Sept. 27), Waynesville (Oct. 11), and Glendale (Oct. 25).

Nixa returns to Eagle Stadium for its second home game on Sept. 13, hosting Joplin. The remaining home games are Kickapoo (Oct. 3) and Ozark (Oct. 18).

The homecoming game is scheduled for week six against Kickapoo, and the Eagles conclude the regular season on the road against Glendale.

The first round of postseason district play is Nov. 1.
