Christian County rivals Nixa and Ozark met in Nixa for the postseason version of the Backyard Brawl on Friday. Like the regular season edition, Nixa came out on top this time by a 42-6 margin.

Ozark got the first score of the game on a Peyton Russell 20-yard touchdown run to take a 6-0 lead at the 5:58 mark of the first quarter.

From there, it was all Nixa.

Randy Flint answered back for Nixa 32 seconds later with a 38-yard touchdown run to give Nixa a 7-6 lead.

Jayden McCaster hit on touchdown runs of 58 and 16 yards in the second quarter extending Nixa's lead to 21-6 at the half.
