Girls golf final roundup, season recap

Following a fourth-place finish in the COC East Tournament with All-Conference performances from Kylie Cassity (8th) and Arianna Baker (10th), the Nixa girls golf team concluded its 2025 season in the Class 4 District 3 tournament at Bill & Payne Stewart Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.

As a team, Nixa placed seventh overall with 361 points in a district field of 17 teams, eventually controlled by Ray-Pec (1st, 314) and Springfield Catholic (2nd, 321). Kylie Cassity and Arianna Baker barely missed a state-qualification berth, finishing 22nd (87) and 24th (88), respectively. Alex Tapprich (32nd), Emma Clay (35th), and Allison Keller (66th) were behind Cassity and Baker.

Kylie Cassity, Arianna Baker, and Emma Clay were honored for performances on the course and in the classroom, as the three were recognized by the Missouri High School Golf Coaches Association (MHSGCA) with Academic All-State selections. 

To achieve this, the following criteria must be met:
  • 3.5 Non-Rounded/Weighted, Cumulative GPA or 25 ACT or 1200 SAT
  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in good standing with their team/school
  • Considered a varsity golfer by the coach/school standards.
