The Nixa track and field team competed in the Class 5 District 6 meet on its home surface, where the top four individual finishers in each event per gender and the top four relay teams in each event per gender advance to the next round (sectionals, state).

Nine schools field the districts in Belton, Carthage, Joplin, Neosho, Nixa, Raymore-Peculiar, Republic, Webb City, and Willard.

The boys and girls teams both captured the team titles, qualifying for 14 boys events at sectionals and 13 girls events. Below are Nixa's top four performers advancing to the sectional meet.
