Mrs. McNew truly loves what she does and is extremely excited to get started at Nixa and help these young athletes get ready for the next level.
McNew graduated from Branson High School in 1990 and then continued her career at Missouri State University, where she was later inducted into the college's Hall of Fame and received the Wynn Award.
McNew began her coaching career many years ago at Licking High School, serving seven years as the head coach and then decided to take a different career path. A few years later McNew realized she missed and loved coaching and teaching so she started again at Houston High School. From there, she moved to Mt. Grove and and served as the head coach for six years and then went on to serve as the head coach at West Plains for two years.
McNew has three boys: DJ (22), Connor (20) and Brody (15).
