BOYS BASKETBALL

Brock Blansit begins his 19th season as an assistant for the Eagles and 21st season overall. He spent three years at Nixa Junior High coaching girls prior to moving to the High School. Before coming to Nixa, Blansit spent one season as an assistant to Forsyth and coached for three seasons at Stafford for Coach Kent Hedgepeth.

Under coach Blansit's direction, his Nixa Junior Varsity teams have amassed an impressive 221-49 record. At the end of the 2014 season, Blansit was the honored recipient of the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association's Kevin Martin Assistant Coach of the Year Award.

Blansit is a graduate of Evangel University, playing basketball for the Crusaders and qualifying for the Elite Eight of the NAIA National Tournament. In high school, his Hillcrest Hornet teams, in two seasons, combined to post a 47-8 record, including District and Blue and Gold Championships under head coach Nate Quinn.

Blansit resides in Nixa with his wife, Danelle.

They have two daughters, Lindsey and Maddie.

GIRLS TENNIS
Brock Blansit begins his 13th year coaching the girls tennis team.  The tennis team has grown to over 40 girls and is continually one of the largest teams in the area.  In 2015, the Eagles won their first conference and district titles.  
He also played tennis at Hillcrest High School and finished his senior season with a 14-2 singles record and played in the state tourney in doubles.
He is married to Danelle and they have two daughters, Lindsey and Maddie.
