Prior to coming to Nixa in 2008, Coach Middleton was the head women’s basketball coach at Southwest Baptist University fourteen years. He and his teams received numerous awards. They include:

Two time finalist for NCAA National Coach of The Year (2001, 2008)
MIAA Coach of The Year 2008
Six NCAA Tournament Teams
Every senior graduated for a 100% graduation rate for the fourteen years
All-Time winning coach in history of SBU basketball
Highest career winning percentage in SBU basketball
Coached 4 professional players and 3 all-Americans

ASSISTANT WOMENS’ BASKETBALL MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY 1985-87, 1991-94

Before becoming head coach at SBU, Coach Middleton was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Missouri State University from 1991-94 and also 1985-87.
