Coach Stein enters his fourth year as an assistant coach for the boys soccer team, and his sixth overall season of coaching. He spent two years with the girls staff as well.
Stein grew up in St. Louis, where he had over 15 years of playing experience with various club teams in the area. He graduated from St. John Vianney High School in 2013 and played soccer all four years. He went on to play a year of collegiate soccer at Aurora University until a few injuries in his first season halted his competitive career. From there, he received his undergraduate degree from Missouri State University in Journalism and Sports Administration in 2017.Â
In 2017, Stein also began his first year in the Nixa District, interning in the communication department. He now enters his eighth overall year at Nixa, where he serves as Nixa’s Sports Information Communication Specialist.Â
Aside from Nixa, Stein also coaches his youth teams at United Springfield Academy.Â
