Jeremy McCoy came to Nixa in 2018 from Parkview High School in Springfield where he served as the assistant principal and athletic director. Prior to his administration position at Parkview, he was the assistant principal at Pipkin Middle School in Springfield, taught biology and coached baseball at Kickapoo High School in Springfield, and was a teacher at Lebanon Middle School.

Previously, at Nixa, McCoy served as assistant principal at Nixa High School.
McCoy received his Specialist in Educational Leadership from Southwest Baptist University in 2021, his Masters in Educational Administration from William Woods University in 2008, and his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Evangel University in 2005.
