Nixa soccer bounced back from a season-opening loss to reel off a three-game winning streak — a streak that was still active at press time.

The Eagles dropped a 4-2 decision to Rock Bridge, a team that tied for third in Class 5 last fall, back on Aug. 19, but rebounded nicely with a convincing 8-1 win at Kickapoo Aug. 22. That win included an onslaught of four goals in 35 minutes.
