The Eagles plated three unanswered runs to claim the COC title, 3-2 over Republic in 9-innings.
Nixa scored single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to overcome a 2-0 deficit, then scored the game-winner in the top of the ninth.
The game was tied at two with the Eagles batting in the top of the ninth when Bryant Avery singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Nixa pitchers struck out seven, while Republic pitchers sat down seven.
Republic opened up scoring in the second inning, hitting into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.
In the top of the seventh inning, Nixa tied things up at two when Evann Long doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Isaac Mitchell started the game for Nixa, allowing one hit and one run over five innings and striking out four.
Avery was the winning pitcher for the Eagles. He allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, walking zero. Jake Uber came in relief for Mitchell and threw three and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Jaret Nelson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead in hits.

Nixa finishes the regular season at 21-2, 8-1 and begins District tournament play on Saturday, May 11 as they face No. 7 Parkview in the quarterfinals at 11 a.m. at Parkview.Â
