Nixa hosted Kickapoo in a Class 5 showdown of early undefeated teams in a key district matchup.

The Eagles entered 5-0, while the Chiefs, the 2023 Class 5 state runners-up, entered 10-0.

It was an intense, highly competitive matchup that lived up to the hype, as Nixa came out victorious 28-26, 19-25, 25-12, 17-25, and 15-13.
