The Nixa track and field team competed in the Class 5 District 6 meet on its home surface, where the top four individual finishers in each event per gender and the top four relay teams in each event per gender advance to the next round (sectionals, state).

10 schools fielded teams in the districts of Belton, Carthage, Joplin, Neosho, Nixa, Raymore-Peculiar, Republic, Ruskin, Webb City, and Willard.

The boys team captured its third straight team title, qualifying for 15 events. The girls finished as runners-up to Webb City, earning nine event qualifications.

Nixa's top four qualifiers will compete in the Class 5 Sectional 3 (Districts 5 & 6) at Waynesville High School on May 23, 2026.
