2025 proved to be another successful season for Nixa softball.

The Eagles posted a 20-15 record, falling to Republic in the district semifinal round.

Head coach JD Payne believes his team is ready to take the next step in its pursuit of postseason success.

"Nixa is always trying to compete for a district championship," Payne said. "While we fell just short of that ultimate goal, the season proved that our explosive offense and aggressive baserunning allow us to compete with and beat any team in the state. The hunger left from last year's finish has completely driven our preparation for this upcoming season."
