It only took two sets for the Nixa Lady Eagles to send the Webb City Cardinals on their way Sept. 29, but both games proved to be an extremely difficult test for the Eagles in a 25-16, 25-23 win.

Webb City played tough throughout both sets and came out extremely aggressive at the net in the second set.

"Webb City did a great job in the second set of coming at us and keeping us off balance, but we didn't freak out or get rattled," Nixa coach Annie Zimmerman said. "We knew what we had to fix and once we started doing that, we were okay."
