Lexie Gregory was Nixa's lucky charm during the Lady Eagles' 25-18, 25-14 Class 4 District 10 semifinal sweep of Kickapoo on Wednesday.

Gregory collected 17 digs and was at the service line for eight straight points during one stretch. Along the way, she netted an ace.

"She has a great serve," coach Annie Zimmerman said. "She comes at a different angle and I think that throws some serve-receive passers off. She did a great job serving the cross-court ball. That was one of our main goals again Kickapoo, to keep them out of system on their serve-receive."

Ciera Reyes recorded a dozen kills, Sydney Golden dished out 31 assists and Golden, Lauren Weber and Kenzie Hines each had a block.
