Below are the dates for the respective sport and additional information, with the exception of girls tennis. Please note that some tournaments may have concluded already.
Girls tennis fell to Kickapoo on Oct. 4 in the quarterfinals 5-1 and wrapped up their season with a 9-3 record and a second-place finish in the COC.

Girls Golf: Oct. 11, 2021
The Class 4 District 3 golf tournament was held on Oct. 11, 2021, at Fred Arabanas Golf Course (Kansas City, Mo.) with a tee time of 9 a.m.
The competing teams in the district were Central (Springfield), Joplin, Kickapoo, Lee's Summit, Lee's Summit North (tournament host), Lee's Summit West, Nixa, Notre Dame de Sion, Ozark, Raymore-Peculiar, Raytown and St. Teresa's Academy.
There is not a tournament bracket for golf. The teams who finish in the top two advances to the state tournament Oct. 18-19, which will be held at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield for Class 4. The individuals who place in the top 18 also advance to the state tournament.
As a team, Nixa placed seventh.
Individually, sophomore Mia Farrar placed fourth with a score of 85 and qualified for the Class 4 state tournament. State tournament information can be found

Farrar went on to place 30th in a three-way tie at the state tournament. Farrar shot 88 round one and then 84 round two for a total score of 172. The state champion shot 143.
Softball: Oct. 12-16, 2021
The Class 5 District 6 softball tournament will be held Oct. 12-16, 2021, at the Nixa softball field, just east of Nixa Junior High School.
The competing teams in the district are Carthage, Central (Springfield), Glendale, Joplin, Kickapoo, Nixa, Ozark and Republic.
The tournament bracket and seeds have been released and can be found here or at the links below. Nixa received the No. 1 seed and is slated to face No. 8 Springfield Central in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.

Nixa went on to win the title against Ozark 4-3 on a walk-off home run by Chloe Krans in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Lady Eagles then fell to Blue Springs South in the Class 5 state quarterfinals 6-2.
Volleyball: Oct. 21-26, 2021
The Class 5 District 11 volleyball tournament will be held Oct. 21-26, 2021, at Kickapoo High School.
The competing teams in the district are Branson, Kickapoo, Nixa, Ozark and Republic.
The tournament bracket and seeds have been released and can be found here or at the links below. Nixa received the No. 1 seed, received a first-round bye and is slated to play Ozark on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m.

Nixa defeated Kickapoo 3-1 (18-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-13) on Oct. 26 to capture the district title. The Lady Eagles then went on to sweep Joplin 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-16) in the state sectional round but fell in a hard-fought battle to Rock Bridge in the quarterfinals 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 22-25, 21-25).
Soccer: Oct. 30-Nov. 6, 2021
The Class 4 District 5 soccer tournament will be held Oct. 30-Nov. 6, 2021, at Carthage High School.
The competing teams in the district are Carthage, Central, Joplin, Kickapoo, Nixa, Ozark, Republic and Waynesville.
The tournament bracket and seeds have been released and can be found here or at the links below. Nixa received the No. 2 seed and faces No. 7 Central (Springfield) on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m.

Nixa defeated Central in the quarterfinals 3-0 and then fell to Carthage in overtime 2-1 in the semifinals.
Cross Country: Oct. 30, 2021
The Class 5 District 2 cross country meet will be held on Oct. 30, 2021, at Bolivar Municipal Golf Course.
The start time for the races has not been announced yet as of Oct. 5 but will be added below upon announcement.
The competing teams in the district for both boys and girls are Belton, Branson, Carthage, Central (Springfield), Glendale, Joplin, Kickapoo, Lebanon, Lee's Summit West, Neosho, Nixa, Ozark, Parkview, Raymore-Peculiar, Republic, Smith-Cotton and Waynesville.
The teams who place in the top four qualify for the Class 5 state meet. The runners who place in the top-30 individually also qualify for the state meet. The Class 5 state meet will be held on Nov. 6, 2021, at Gans Creek in Columbia, Mo.
For the first time in program history, both the boys and girls teams qualified in the same year and will be competing at the state meet, as both placed fourth at districts.

Football: Begins Oct. 29-30, 2021
Nixa is in the Class 6 District 3 football tournament with Joplin, Kickapoo, Lee's Summit, Lee's Summit North, Lee's Summit West, Ozark and Raymore-Peculiar.
The tournament bracket and seeds have been released and can be found here or at the links below. Nixa received the No. 3 seed, behind Lee's Summit North and Joplin, and is slated to face and host No. 6 seed Lee's Summit West on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. The two teams met last year in the district semifinals and Nixa won 40-28.

The games will be held as following and advancement and host will be dependent on the result of each contest.
District Quarterfinals: Oct. 29, 2021, at 7 p.m., vs. Lee's Summit West (Nixa won 28-0).
District Semifinals: Nov. 5, 2021, at 7 p.m., at Joplin.
District Championship: Nov. 12-13, 2021, TBD
The winner of the district championship game will advance to the Class 6 state final four Nov. 19-20. The state championship game is set for Nov. 27.
