The Kickapoo Lady Chiefs continued to roll with a 63-61 win over Central Ozark Conference East rival Nixa on Monday. The win pushed Kickapoo to 19-0 on the season. Kickapoo senior Josie Salazar also scored her 1,000th career point on Monday.

Salazar said netting 1,000 career points took a back seat to the win.

"Every day hard work. Working on my game as much as I can," Salazar said. "This game is really tough, and we just played our game. 1,000 points was second nature, we were focusing on the game. If the 1,000 points came with it, then it came with it."
