In 2023, Nixa's soccer season ended with a 3-2 loss to Kickapoo in the district championship game.

Nixa coach Evan Palmer knew something special was in the works.

"Half of that varsity team were freshmen, and we were competing," Palmer said. "It took us a while to learn how to win, but once we did, we were even tougher by the end of the year."

Three years later, with that freshman core now seniors, the Lady Eagles have amassed an all-time dominant run.

Nixa won its 39^th straight match against local competition on Monday night with a convincing 6-0 home win over Glendale. Seniors Shaelee Franck and London Kirk each had a brace and an assist as the Lady Eagles overwhelmed a team they could see against next month in the district finals.
