2026 Class 4 District 5 girls soccer district tournament bracket, information

The Class 4 District 5 soccer tournament is set.

The district's competing teams are Branson, Glendale, Kickapoo, Neosho, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and Waynesville.

Ozark is the tournament host, and all games will be played at Ozark High School.

Nixa (18-3), the back-to-back district champs and 3-peat Central Ozark Conference champs, earned the top seed and will face No. 8 Branson (6-11) in the quarterfinals on May 18 at 5 p.m. The Eagles hold an all-time record of 15-0 against the Pirates dating back to 2009.

During the regular season, the Eagles went undefeated against southwest Missouri area teams and defeated six district opponents, shutting out five: Waynesville (8-0), Glendale (6-0), Republic (5-0), Ozark (4-0), and Neosho (4-0). The Eagles also knocked off Kickapoo 3-2.

Other quarterfinal matchups entail No. 2 Ozark (16-7) vs. No. 7 Waynesville (12-9) at 1 p.m., No. 3 Glendale (16-4) vs. No. 6 Neosho (10-10) at 3 p.m., No. 4 Kickapoo (15-8) vs. No. 5 Republic (15-9) at 7 p.m.

The semifinal matchups are set for May 21, with start times at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The championship tilt is May 26 at 5 p.m.

Nixa coasted its way to victory in the opening round by defeating Neosho 8-0.

The Eagles led 6-0 at halftime and enacted the mercy rule in the second half with goals from London Kirk and Hope Angell.

Shaelee Franck kick-started the scoring with the first of her four goals in the opening five minutes of the game. She netted an additional three throughout the first half.

Jade Johnson and Bella Lozano also tallied goals in the game. Riley Geary secured the shutout between the pipes.

The win advances Nixa to the district semifinal vs. Kickapoo on Thursday, May 21, at 4 p.m. The Eagles won the regular-season matchup 3-2, overcoming a 2-0 halftime deficit.

On the other side of the bracket, Ozark meets Glendale. The Tigers won 4-1 over Waynesville, while Glendale shut out Neosho 4-0.
