Senior London Kirk earned a corner kick after beating a defender down the left line. Kirk sent in a well-placed driven ball at the front post, where Witts headed the ball past the Bruin keeper, sending the Eagle fans into jubilation.

Nixa had a few big chances to extend the lead in the second half, but the Rock Bridge keeper shut the door.

Behind a stout back line, featuring Mackinzie Harris, Bria Smith, Aubrey Posegate, and Addie Harris, that has only allowed one goal in its last eight games, Riley Geary had three saves in net and recorded another shutout, marking the 18th of the season.

The win improves Nixa to 22-3 and sends Nixa to its second-straight Final Four, where the Eagles will face St. Teresa's Academy in the Class 4 state semifinals on Friday, June 5, at 7 p.m. The game will be held at World Wide Technology Park in Fenton, Mo. St. Teresa's knocked off Staley 2-1 in its quarterfinal.

Defending champions, Cor Jesu Academy, and Parkway West meet on the opposite side of the bracket.
