Semifinals
In a back-and-forth, hard-fought overtime thriller, Nixa prevailed over Ozark 4-3.

Nixa struck first three minutes into the game, with a goal by Ryker Pabst. Ozark answered with the next two goals off of set pieces and carried a 2-1 lead into the 10-minute break.

Similar to the first half, Eagles were quick to get on the scoreboard. Keagan Pycior knotted the game up five minutes into the second, capitalizing on a breakaway. Midway through the half, the Tigers drew a foul and scored off a free kick. Four minutes later, Malachi Horton found the back of the net, evening the ballgame at 3-3, for the final goal of regulation.

With three minutes remaining in the first overtime, Nixa drew a foul inside the Ozark box, and Jake Harvey hammered in the penalty kick in the top corner, sending the Eagles sprinting to the corner in celebration of a 4-3 victory.

The win advances Nixa to its third-straight district championship game, where they will meet the top-seeded Glendale Falcons in a rematch of last year's overtime title tilt. The Falcons knocked off Republic 2-0 in its semifinal.

Championship
For a second-straight year, Nixa and Glendale battled for the Class 4 District 5 title.

The Eagles were unable to overcome a slow start and fell to the Falcons 2-1, finishing the year with an 18-9 record.
